AROHA GROVES – SECOND LIFE PROJECT

With support from Arts NSW Aboriginal Regional Arts Fund we have invited Indigenous artist Aroha Groves into residence in September/October. While here Aroha will continue her research into Second Life applications and run digital art making workshops with local students. Aroha’s innovative work is well known in digital art circles and is nationally recognised. Her work will be part of the Australian Centre of Virtual Art’s (ACVA) program at the International Symposium of Electronic Art (ISEA) in Istanbul 2011.
