The Bundanon Trust Artist in Residence program is open to professional artists and groups, from all disciplines. Bundanon advances contemporary art practice through fostering artists, producers, directors, as well as curators and educators engaged in research and development. Residencies under this program do not necessarily involve production based outcomes. However, potential to engage with the arts community/audiences regionally, nationally or internationally is desirable.
PLEASE NOTE: Visitors, including children of resident artists, are not permitted to stay on the Trust properties due to limited resources (such as water) and the need to respect the solitude of fellow artists. Artists with exceptional circumstances can apply to the CEO for special consideration.
Artists practising in the visual and performing arts, craft and design, digital and technological arts, writers, filmmakers, musicians and sound designers, collaborative and/or multidisciplinary projects. Collegiate networks, critical thinkers, curators and educators; Mentored artist residencies through partnerships with galleries, arts organisations and educational institutions; Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and performers are encouraged to apply.
Groups applying for workshops, symposia, masterclasses and conferences should contact the Trust for a schedule of fees.
