Boyd Vase Gifted to Bundanon

A Boyd earthenware vase has been kindly donated to Bundanon through the Cultural Gifts Program 2011. The vase, made by Merric Boyd in 1948 and given to Arthur Boyd, was purchased by John Perceval and then sold to a private owner. It was later listed in a Goodmans catalogue and failed to sell at auction. It was then sold to its recent owner through an antique dealer, finding its way to Bundanon after the Cultural Gifts Program was suggested to the owner as being a great way to donate artworks to the Trust's collection, ensuring its longevity and continued access to the public.
