DIRECTIONS BY ROAD

Bundanon Trust operates on two sites: Riversdale (Glenn Murcutt designed Arthur and Yvonne Boyd Education Centre) and Bundanon (Artist in Residence complex, Bundanon Homestead and Arthur Boyd Studio) they are 12 kilometres apart. After the Illaroo Road turning marked Bundanon, travel 500m to the sign posted intersection. Turn left for Riversdale (3kms). Turn right for Bundanon (9kms). The road to Riversdale is a graded dirt road for 1km and a two-way sealed road for the final 2kms.

Please note that both roads are narrow in places. We recommend care with driving and giving way to passing vehicles.

DRIVING FROM THE SOUTH (via Princes Highway)

Drive through Nowra (travelling north along the Princes Highway) travel in left hand lane over Shoalhaven River bridge and turn immediately left into Illaroo Road at the set of lights. Follow Illaroo Road, through the roundabout (do not turn left) for 13.5kms (15 minutes). Turn left at the green sign to Bundanon and continue along this road for approximately 500 metres.

DRIVING FROM THE NORTH (from Sydney, Wollongong via Princes Highway)

Just before arriving in Nowra (travelling south through Bomaderry along the Princes Highway) turn right into Illaroo Road at the set of lights before the bridge over the Shoalhaven River. Follow Illaroo Road, through the roundabout (do not turn left) for 13.5kms (15 minutes). Turn left at the green sign to Bundanon and continue along Illaroo Road approximately 500 metres.

DRIVING FROM CANBERRA (from the Hume Highway via Kangaroo Valley)

On descent of Cambewarra Mountain after coming through Kangaroo Valley, take the first turn to the right into Main Road Cambewarra. Follow Main Road through the village of Cambewarra some 2 kms & turn left at the give way sign at a junction of driveways. Follow Tapitallee Road and then turn right at the t-intersection into Illaroo Road Follow Illaroo Road for approximately 6kms. Turn left at the green sign to Bundanon and continue along Illaroo Road approximately 500 metres.

Private Buses

Access to the Riversdale property is by a partially sealed road. Access to this location is now possible for large single and double axle buses.
