Gemma Turvey is a pianist/composer and founding director of the cross-genre chamber ensemble, The New Palm Court Orchestra. Her musical compositions have a classical aesthetic and incorporate improvisation and jazz influences.

During her residency at Bundanon in 2014, Tuvey developed a new repertoire for The New Palm Court Orchestra, for premiering in their 2014 concert series.

Bundanon acknowledges the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the traditional owners of the land within our boundaries, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
