HERITAGE MANAGEMENT PLAN
The 1866 Bundanon Homestead and other buildings on the Bundanon properties are heritage listed. These come under the care of the Trust and their upkeep is directed by a Heritage Management Plan. The approach taken by Bundanon is to maintain the flavour and atmosphere of the home as it was when given by the Boyds.
The Heritage Management Plan, completed in March 2008 was prepared by Peter Freeman Pty Ltd, Conservation Architects and Planners for the Bundanon Trust. The Plan provides an understanding of the cultural and national heritage significance of the Bundanon Trust properties and complies with the EPBC Act, 1999.
The Plan comprises three volumes:
Vol 1: 2008 Introduction and overview;
Vol 2: 1997 Bundanon Conservation Management Plan (revised and updated);
Vol 3: 2004 Riversdale Conservation Management Plan (revised and updated).
All three volumes prepared by Peter Freeman Pty Ltd.
