Alana Valentine, an award winning playwright, came in to residence through our ongoing relationship with Historic Houses Trust, to develop a script based on the story of Meroogal, a historic house in Nowra, and the women who lived there.

 Interviewed by Richard Morecroft, Valentine engaged an audience of 20, speaking about her previous work, in particular Parramatta Girls and Run Rabbit Run and how she uses her skill of listening to people to bring their words on to stage, creating a more authentic experience.
