John Bennett wins poetry award

Past artist in residence John Bennett has won the Inaugral David Harold Tribe Poetry Award, for his poem Kitchen Music, which was written at Bundanon for fellow artist in residence William Barton.

The Award is worth $11,000 and is the richest prize for a poem in Australia.

The David Harold Tribe Awards, established in 2005 by David Tribe, is a suite of awards to encourage excellence in the fields of literature, philosophy, sculpture and music.
