LIZARDS

In the heat of summer lizards come out to sun themselves. The lace monitor can be seen climbing the chimney at Bundanon kitchen, in residence for a season. A blue tongue lizard trades places with a snake for dominance of the kitchen herb garden. Along the Bundanon road goannas scurry across the road and climb the nearest ironbark tree. In late spring, the water dragons play near the culvert crossing the creek at Riversdale.
