Arthur and Yvonne Boyd's gift of the Bundanon properties and art collections remain a truly valuable national gift that belongs to all Australians. Bundanon is a unique cultural and environmental asset that we believe is well worth supporting for future generations to enjoy.

Bundanon Trust is a not-for-profit organisation funded in part by the Australian Government. We benefit greatly from the generosity of committed individuals and visionary companies to fuel our programs, reach communities in need, conserve the art collection and the natural environment and build new infrastructure.

In line with the Boyd’s vision for a 'living arts centre', Bundanon is a dynamic, relevant and inclusive cultural institution keen to embrace local and international artists and audiences.

In 2008, Bundanon Trust remains committed to fostering new opportunities to have artists and communities across the country experience Arthur Boyd's legacy in a number of different ways. These opportunities include providing support for the following programs.

ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE

We offer year-round residencies at Bundanon for the best and brightest artists in the visual arts, writing, music and other performing arts to enable them to create new work and perform on site. Our esteemed Artist in Residence program supports artists at all stages of their career from Australia and abroad. Your support will enable us to invite artists to perform and to participate in our education programs by giving talks and workshops to resident schoolchildren.

EDUCATION AND OUTREACH PROGRAM

Bundanon’s acclaimed Education Program enables young people to stay in the award winning Glen Murcutt designed Arthur and Yvonne Boyd Education Centre at Riversdale. Bundanon offers disadvantaged young people from both Indigenous and non-Indigenous backgrounds the opportunity to engage in the visual and performing arts and undertake specialist workshops. These, often life-changing, experiences harness creativity, build new social skills and develop self esteem. Your donation will enable us to bring children to Bundanon who would not otherwise be able to participate due to social, economic or geographic disadvantage.

Our successful Adopt-a-School program prioritises schools identified as disadvantaged by the NSW Department of Education and wholly or partly funds all costs associated with a residential visit. Donations will also help Bundanon’s Outreach Program which works with children at risk; long-term unemployed youth from the Nowra region – which has one of Australia’s highest youth employment rates – and those with special needs due to economic circumstances or mental or physical disabilities. More than fifty percent of program participants are Indigenous.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Donations of all amounts are greatly appreciated and can be made at any time. Bundanon Trust has Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status and all donations of $2 or more qualify for a tax deduction. Donations over $250 will also be acknowledged on our web site for 12 months.
