Margrit Linder-Hintermeister

Swiss jeweller and installation artist Margrit Linder-Hintermeister is strongly influenced by a visual and tactile relationship to the natural world.

Linder-Hintermeister began her career as a gold and silversmith in Sydney and during this time frequently visited Kangaroo Valley and surrounding areas, developing an attachment to the landscape.

The residency at Bundanon will allow Linder-Hintermeister to focus on work which refers to the place itself, collecting plant material as a starting point for jewellery, leading into other projects which involve working directly in the landscape.
