Namatjira visit to Riversdale

Members of the Namatjira family, along with actors Trevor Jamieson and Derek Lynch, visited Riversdale for the afternoon  on 18 September on their way to BigHart’s highly successful touring production of Namatjira. The production tours with Namatjira family artists - Lenie Namatjira, Ivy Pareroultja and Kevin Namatjira - who paint an expansive backdrop during each performance. 

The Namatjira artists expressed an interest in visiting Arthur Boyd’s home at Bundanon on their way to Wollongong for the performance. The group met up with around 20 local local Indigenous artists and Elders.
