Primary Residential Programs

Our Primary School arts education programs engage students holistically in the exploration of the cultural, environmental and architectural heritage of the Bundanon Trust properties. Visiting groups experience the story of Arthur Boyd and his family in the context of Bundanon Homestead and Arthur Boyd’s studio. Students are able to meet a resident artist and learn about their art making practice. Our visual arts workshops foster imaginative thinking and encourage students to collaborate and communicate with each other through a range of different media.

We also offer guided walks of our special places such as the Amphitheatre, the Single Man’s Hut and the Cedar Walk. Our primary school visitors come from of a range of backgrounds and use our beautiful location for music camps, art camps, and the opportunity to further develop a sense of community through a residential experience. We encourage teachers to discuss their specific needs with the Education Manager before arranging their visit.
