PULPIT ROCK

Pulpit Rock is a feature of the escarpment on the south side of the Shoalhaven River. This feature, which is evident when looking south from area in the front Bundanon homestead, inspired many artworks by Arthur Boyd and members of his family. This rock feature was a site of significance for the local Indigenous people. Pulpit Rock has many different moods, and its form varies according to the viewpoint.
