SITEWORKS 2011

Our ongoing SITEWORKS program will continue in 2011 with artist commissions, funded by Arts NSW; a series of residencies; a Laboratory with artists and scientists from the University of Wollongong and a publication. Watch this space for the opportunity to join next year’s public discussion.

The SITEWORKS 2010 event was a resounding success with a highly developed, integrated, program taking place prior to the public weekend of 25 and 26 September. The activity’s four main components attracted audiences of 261, with 166 participating in the fabulous dinner under the stars and evening performances at Bundanon. Many visitors and contributors travelled from interstate and the program is now firmly embedded into Bundanon’s calendar.

We were blessed with very talented and experienced artists who rose to the challenge with great imagination. The artists and scholars had researched and absorbed a great deal of information about the Bundanon sites which can be shared and drawn on in future.

SITEWORKS invites selected artists, scientists and scholars to respond to Bundanon through the lens of their specific discipline; to collaborate and to share their findings with the public.
