Bundanon SPROUT is a documentary film project supported through the Bundanon Trust Indigenous Youth Program, a 12 month project of arts activities for local Indigenous youth and emerging Indigenous artists, funded by the Australia Council for the Arts Community Partnership Program and Arts NSW ConnectEd.
60 Indigenous students from Nowra East Primary School, Bomaderry Primary School, St Michael’s Primary School and Huskisson Primary School worked with documentary film makers Mitzi Goldman, Pat Fiske and Danny Teece-Johnson, learning to get behind the camera to tell their stories. The result was 15 terrific short films written, filmed and produced by young people within their local community, which were shown at the Roxy Cinema Complex Nowra on Monday 7 December 2009.
This project is supported by the Australia Council for the Arts, ConnectEd (ArtsNSW), Looking Glass Pictures and Roxy Cinema Complex Nowra.
