Teacher Retreats

The Arthur and Yvonne Boyd Education Centre provides an outstanding venue for teacher retreats and professional learning. Bundanon offers professional development programs enabling teachers to learn new skills and to share their experiences of teaching and learnign in the arts. Education staff can design programs, including workshops in specific media and technique, discussions, visits with artists in residence, tours of Bundanon Homestead and Arthur Boyd’s studio. We also offer "taster" programs for teachers to introduce them to the schools programs on offer.

VISUAL ARTS TEACHERS’ RETREAT

Artists’ Books and the Inspiration of the Landscape Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 September Boyd Education Centre, Riversdale Join fellow Visual Arts teachers in a relaxing residential weekend at the Arthur and Yvonne Boyd Education Centre at Riversdale. Learn about our outstanding schools programs and create a themed artists’ book based on observation of the landscape incorporating drawing, painting and handmade bookbinding techniques.
