Residency at Bundanon

As a gift to the Australian people, Arthur Boyd’s vision for Bundanon was to provide an inspirational haven for artists of every discipline and at all stages in their careers. Studio space and accommodation is available from 4-6 weeks.

Bundanon will provide the UNESCO- Aschberg Laureate with the following:
Round trip travel to and from venue
Accomodation and artistic work space
$350AUD per week subsistence allowence for meals and incidentals
Travel insurance

As part of Bundanon’s Education Program the Laureate may be requested to open their studio to the public for a maximum of two sessions and also offer a limited number of workshops (supported by an Education Officer). If the Laureate is a performing or new media artist and/or writer, they may be asked to contribute to Bundanon events and public programs. This is vountary and not a condition of the residency.

Eligibility


The UNESCO - Aschberg Bursaries for Artists Programme
 is open to professional International individual artists by application. Bundanon supports professional artists’ practice, across all disciplines and at all stages in their career. Bundanon advances contemporary art practice through fostering artists, producers/directors, as well as curators and educators engaged in research and development.

Laureate must be 25- 35 years of age, from outside Australia and must be able to take up the residency between April - September 2009.
