Xenia Hanusiak & Operalab

Australian soprano and Xenia Hanusiak enjoys one of the most diverse musical lives experienced by singers today. With a background in music and theatre, she has dedicated her career to creating new experiences.

As the Artistic Director of Operalab, Xenia and an ensemble of performers, including eminent Australian Dramaturg May-Brit Ackerholt, will come to Bundanon to develop the script and the mulit-media aspects of Ward B, a new Australian work written by Xenia. The work began its life when Xenia was awarded a Creative Fellowship from State Library of Victoria in 2006 . It is now supported by a Literature Board Grant from the Australia Council.
