Bridget Kennedy

Bridget Kennedy is a contemporary jewelery artist and director of an artist run contemporary jewelery gallery in Sydney. Bridget’s practice involves the use of the language of traditional jewelery making in a contemporary manner and the juxtaposition of precious and non precious material.

Bridget is currently working on a project that involved collecting all non-recyclable plastic that enters her house in 2009 and then spend 2010 turning the material into wearable artworks that relate aesthetically back to the earth from which the raw materials originally came from.
