Open in February

We look forward to welcoming all our guests back onto the Bundanon Trust properties in February.

Thank You Rural Fire Service

Bundanon is grateful for the heroic efforts of the Rural Fire Service who worked tirelessly to protect our culturally significant properties. While fires came close to us, and impacted some of our access roads, both the Bundanon and Riversdale properties are completely untouched.

Thank you also to our Shoalhaven and South Coast communities, artists and other friends from all over the globe who have offered to assist us and have sent messages of support during this time.

Bushland and Wildlife

Our beautiful bushland and wildlife have sustained some damage and we are embarking upon a detailed assessment of the impact of the fires. As an immediate precaution, water stations have been made available to support affected wildlife across Bundanon Trust properties.

We have had many offers of assistance and support and will work with our regional partners to develop a bushland rehabilitation and wildlife welfare plan.

Look out on our website and social media channels for opportunities to participate in bush and wildlife support.

The Collection

Bundanon’s significant collection of artworks and archival materials has been relocated to safe storage during the bushfire season. The majority of the artworks will remain in storage until the completion of our new gallery and education complex in late 2021. We will re-introduce a selection of key works to the Homestead and Boyd Studio precinct later this year to ensure we can continue to provide a rich and informative visitor and student experience.
