Applications for the Bundanon Artists & Makers Market are now open.

The second Bundanon Artists & Makers Market will take place on Saturday 26 April. We are looking for handmade ceramics, jewellery, weaving, & original artworks. Please find below key information relating to the application process for stallholders.

Become a stallholder

Connect with new audiences and other makers in a stunning bush setting on the Shoalhaven River. 

Bundanon proudly provides pathways to make it easier for First Nations makers and artists to participate. Selected First Nations applicants will be offered a fee waiver on a standard stall.

Stay The Night

As part of the Bundanon Artists and Makers Market stallholders are invited to attend our Makers Mixer event on Friday 25 April, the night before market day. We have special accommodation and meal packages available for stallholders, so you can make the most of your BAMM experience and stay the night.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does Bundanon expect from its stallholders?

Bundanon Artist and Makers Markets are looking for high quality, unique products made or designed by Artists and Makers. Bundanon also expects a professional approach to participating in the market and presenting your productsThis includes careful reading of all the information provided to you, specifically the terms and conditions; and adherence to directives such as setup and packdown instructions. 

I make craft items not art, does this still count?

Applications are open to a broad range of makers such as jewellery makers, textile artists, ceramicists, illustrators, photographers etc. Bundanon is seeking high quality, unique products that offer visitors something special. 

What costs are involved for participating artists and makers?

Artists and markers who are selected will required to pay a stall holder fee based on the setup requested in the application form. Fees are outlined below:

Stall holder fee 1 = 1 x table: $120
Stall holder fee 2 =1 x table and 1 x wall: $160
Stall holder fee 3 = 1 x marquee 3mx3m: $210

Limited accommodation packages are available on site for stall holders. Accommodation is to be requested in the application form and is subject to availability. Costs are outlined below:

Room in the Boyd Education Centre, dinner and breakfast included (shared bathroom facilities): $260 per night
Room in the Bridge, dinner and breakfast included (ensuite facilities): $310 per night

There are no costs involved to apply.

My market stall stock is not made by me, it's made by another artist. Am I able to sell another person's stock at Bundanon Artist and Makers Market?

This arrangement needs to be stipulated in the application form. Bundanon Artists and Makers Market would prefer the product creator to be the seller, however we are willing to consider a second staff member, particularly in the case of illness.

What if I become unwell, can someone else stand in my place and sell my products for me?

It is difficult to predict illness. If you are unwell on the day of the market you can have someone else take charge of your market stall, but you will need to seek approval from Bundanon in this instance.

I am new to the market scene. Can I still apply?

Yes. If you can demonstrate that you have the stock and capacity to hold a market stall, we encourage you to apply.

Can I share a stall with another vendor?

Yes, but full details of a second Vendor and their products must be included in the applicationIn the event of illness, you can contact Bundanon to seek approval for your elected person to take charge of your stall.

Can I sell food at Bundanon Artists & Makers Markets?

No, Bundanon will have full catering for this event. No food, including pre-packaged gourmet items, are to be sold at Bundanon Artists and Makers Market.

Can I make changes to my application after I have submitted it?

No, however, any new information or changes that impact your application can be sent to programs@bundanon.com.au.

Can a non-profit organisation participate in Bundanon Artists and Makers Market?

If you can demonstrate that members of the organisation hand-make unique products to sell, you are welcome to apply.

What type of images should I use for my application. What file type and size?

Jpeg, PNG or PDF files are the best format for uploading images to the application formFiles should be no smaller than 150kb, and no larger than 1MB300dpi is the preferred image resolution. 

Will my images be used for promotional purposes?

If your application is successful, we may contact you for additional images. In some instances, we may use the images you provided in your application form for promotional purposes.

If I am having trouble loading my information to the application form, is there an alternative application process?

What happens after I apply to participate in the Market?

Applications close Friday, 21 March. After the closing date for event applications the organisers will shortlist applications in preparation for a selection panel. This panel will comprise of members of Bundanon staff and panelists selected from outside the organisation. This process will take up to three weeks. Successful applicants will be notified in early November. 

What if I can no longer participate?

If you are selected for a market stall at Bundanon Art and Makers Market, you will be required to be onsite for the full duration of the event. The market stall fee is to be paid in full to secure your position. Please note stall holder fees are non-refundable. 

In the instance you are unable to attend you may elect someone to take charge of your market stall. This must be communicated to the event organisers.
