Bundanon

Bundanon’s new Art Museum and the Bridge opened to the public in early 2022. The design recently saw Kerstin Thompson Architects awarded the prestigious Sulman Medal for Public Architecture.

Set into the landscape, the Art Museum presents a year-round program of exhibitions of modern, contemporary and First Nations art.

The Bridge incorporates exemplary sustainability features, encompassing Bundanon’s net zero ambitions. Powered by solar panels, the design features passive temperature management, black water treatment, harvesting and storing of rainwater, local materials throughout and a reduced reliance on fossil fuel sources.

The Bridge offers new accommodation for up to 64 guests, with each room featuring an ensuite bathroom and landscape views.
