Restoring river flat eucalypt forest at Bundanon

Join Bundanon’s Natural Resources Manager Michael Andrews for a walk of Haunted Point Loop and learn about our current project restoring river flat eucalypt forest.

The 3.5km track passes through closed canopy rainforest, Spotted Gum woodlands and a spectacular ridgeline of Bloodwood/Burrawang forest.

This walk will focus on the restoration of the river flat Eucalypt Forest that would once have clad the broad floodplain of the lower reaches of the Shoalhaven River.

  • Length: 3.5km
  • Duration: 4 hours with rest, and discussion breaks
  • What to bring: Sturdy bushwalking shoes or boots, hat, sunscreen, day pack, water bottle and your own picnic lunch
