Kirsty Murray is an Australian author of books for children and teenagers though her readership includes many adventurous adult readers.

While in residence in 2011 at Bundanon, Murray worked on developing a novel for younger readers that explores the relationship between a young girl, her elderly aunts and the landscapes of their past. Murray is the author of nine novels for children and teenagers.

Bundanon acknowledges the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the traditional owners of the land within our boundaries, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
