Bundanon

Bridget Balodis is a director who works with new writing. She has a long-standing creative partnership with Rachel Perks under the company ‘Double Water Sign’.

During their residency together, Rachel Perks and Balodis worked on ‘End Of Life’, a theatre work for two performers exploring climate change, the impending water crisis and toxic masculinity. The artists used their time together at Bundanon to research the ideas of the work, fleshing them out and finalising a first draft. The work was presented by Melbourne Theatre Company at South Bank Theatre in March 2020.
