Candy Royalle was one of Australia’s most prominent performing writers. She was a multi-award winning storyteller, activist, educator and vulnerability advocate who shares confronting, political, human and heart wrenching narratives to audiences all over Australia and the world having performed at innumerable folk, music, writers and arts festivals globally.

Candy Royalle worked across a number of projects whilst in residence at Bundanon, including further development of a novel, third poetry collection and completing play “Parts in Pieces”.

Candy Royalle was also in residence at Bundanon in 2012, 2013 and 2014

Bundanon acknowledges the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the traditional owners of the land within our boundaries, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
