Talia Wignall

Art Form: Visual Art

Residency Year: 2014

Lives / Works: Australia

Talia Wignall has been exploring celestial space, combining galactic imagery alongside elements of recognisable, earthly landscape, creating an imaginary world that is still linked to our physical reality. Her recent body of work has examined the evocative idea of biophilia, exploring the connections that human beings subconsciously seek with nature and wild spaces and our inherent inclination to affiliate with the rest of life.

Wignall was in residence at Bundanon in 2014 with Kristel Britcher and Heidi Kenyon.
