Melissa Mylchreest

With a background in magazine and book design, Melissa Mylchreest has turned a love of art and nature into a lifelong adventure. After studying graphic design, Melissa worked in corporate design roles before landing her first job as an art director and immersing herself in magazine publishing across a range of high-profile titles for 20 years – culminating in a role as Creative Director at Australian House & Garden.

Melissa established King Street Press, a boutique graphic design and publishing studio creating branding, design collateral, custom designed websites and beautiful books, in 2014. In 2020, she branched out into Rewilding Life, her own collection of self-guided books, maps and experiences, beautifully designed to nudge people outdoors.  Rewilding Kids Australia, a mindful activity book incorporating Melissa’s illustrations and philosophies, was published by Hardie Grant Books in 2022.

Today, Melissa combines her love of design and illustration across a range of custom projects for clients, as well as her own work.
