Candy Royalle

Candy Royalle's work as Performance Poet and Artist is particularly unique as she focuses much attention not only on the aspect of writing and performing but also on the art of sound: the delivery of the words, the rhythm they are delivered in, the articulation and the sounds they form. To further enhance her work, she often uses a looping pedal normally used by guitarists, in order to create an atmosphere or ambience conducive to the piece she is performing. Candy Royalle will use her residency at Bundanon to develop her next solo show for late 2012/early 2013.
