Curious Works

In the initial part of the residency, artists Shakthi Sivanathan and Aimée Falzon will be working on components of Shakthi's new large-scale theatre work, A Counting and Cracking of Heads. This work follows the uprooting and resettling of a family over four generations from Sri Lanka to Australia. Shakthi will be writing the final draft of the play's script as well as co-composing and recording the music for the work. Aimée will be co-composing and performing vocals and piano for the musical recordings.
