My time at Bundanon will be focused on bringing together the various threads of my burgeoning play ‘Somewhere Over the Blak Rainbow’– a street theatre songline of the Blak and Queer history of Fitzroy, and weigh up the dramaturgical offers I’ve been given, in order to complete my first draft. The play will consider and celebrate the lives of ‘Blak & Queer’ people and the legacy that has been collectively created in the Narrm, and will span a range of forms and styles, blending non-fiction accounts, insights and historical records, alongside characters, settings and stories of a fictional nature.
