IN RESIDENCE 2013

During his residency at Bundanon in 2013, Vercoe developed his creative project On My Big Day. On My Big Day is an audio performance shaped from documentation of interviews between Vercoe and ‘unmarried people, most of whom are queer, imagining their dream wedding’. On My Big Day presents interviews that ask people to describe what it will feel like when they walk down the aisle: what they might wear, how they will dance, how the flowers will be arranged, and who is invited.
