Art Forms: Installation, Research, Sculpture, Visual Art

Residency Year: 2023

Lives / Works: Australia

Clare Britton, Therese Keogh and Kenzee Patterson are using the concept of magnetic topographies as the basis for a collaborative reading and field trip working-group.

This working-group brings together people and practitioners with diverse areas of interest and from varying fields, with an underlying focus on collective spatial practice.

In Residence at Bundanon

We don’t know precisely where Magnetic Topographies is going, what it will mean for us to look back over our archive in residency at Bundanon or what we will write or make during our time in residence. We do know that the richness and expansiveness of the Magnetic Topographies archive is already immense. Putting time aside for this residency at Bundanon will allow us to honour and reflect on all the contributions a wide-ranging and impressive group of Australian artists, writers, and scientists have made to the archive. The creative process we have proposed will harness twelve months of work and research into a live and physical outcome that connects us to place, time, space and other artists.

Bundanon acknowledges the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the traditional owners of the land within our boundaries, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
