Temporary Position

Art Form: Performance

Residency Year: 2023

Lives / Works: Gadigal and Bidjigal Country, Sydney

Commissioned and supported by Cement Fondu, Temporary Position’s creative residency at Bundanon will evolve new ideas that will feature in Cement Fondu’s BETTER NATURE Art + Events program later in 2023.

Collaborating with individuals and communities, Temporary Position hosts IRL and URL happenings that explore alternative presentations of narrative. It creates a meeting space for differing practices to instigate ideas, community making and conversations. Open and fluid in form and duration, Temporary Position takes shape as exhibitions, performances, screenings, workshops, and web residencies.

In Residence at Bundanon

Curated by Temporary Position, a collective of artists and curators will develop new work and generate recordings on Bundanon’s site that will feed into Cement Fondu’s 2023 BETTER NATURE program, Earthen. This program will explore the ground beneath us as a living and generative co-entity, alive with agency and capable of exchange, transmutation, and communication.
