“Alan Schacher is a contemporary performance maker and interdisciplinary artist. His particular focus is on spatial experience and the different meanings the body takes on in relation to diverse situations and surroundings, the built environment, and objects. An undercurrent of cultural landscapes and diasporic references, both imagined and inherited, form significant motifs in his work.
