Conditions of Entry (All Visitors)
Bundanon has two separate sites:
- The Art Museum Site; and
- The Homestead & Arthur Boyd’s Studio (the Homestead Site).
The terms and conditions below apply to both sites (collectively referred to as the Bundanon Site).
General Waiver
You enter the Bundanon Site at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, you release and discharge Bundanon from all claims and demands and any loss or damage whatsoever and whenever caused by Bundanon or its employees, servants, contractors, agents or otherwise, arising from your attendance at the Bundanon Site.
At all times during your visit, it is a requirement that you:
- Conduct yourselves responsibly and are respectful to others. Bundanon will not tolerate any abuse directed towards Bundanon staff, volunteers, contractors or other visitors, and will not tolerate behaviour that is discriminatory, offensive or abusive.
- Exercise caution when traversing the Bundanon Site, especially in adverse weather conditions. Visitors are advised that pathways at the Homestead Site are unsealed and can be somewhat uneven.
- Wear footwear to protect you against injury.
- Ensure that children and young people under your care comply with the Conditions of Entry.
- Accompany any children in your care who are under the age of 12.
- Comply with any rules and policies made by Bundanon. This includes abiding by any signage displayed across the Bundanon Site.
- Do not bring any pets onto the Bundanon Site as it is a wildlife reserve. The only exception to this is service animals. “Reasonable proof” that a service animal is trained to assist with a disability may be asked by Bundanon staff, such as a handler’s ID card, or a letter from a professional.
- Permission must be sought in advance for service animals at Bundanon between Monday and Friday when school groups are present.
- Only smoke or vape in designated areas.
- Act and behave in a manner that is consistent with Bundanon’s on-premise liquor license or the Liquor Act 2007
- Do not touch or interfere with the artworks in any way.
- Do not swim in the river.
- Do not interfere with, disrupt or offend other people on the sites or act in any way that is unsafe to yourself or others.
- Do not leave bags or belongings unattended.
- Do not touch wildlife or leave food behind.
- Do not remove plant material.
Bundanon reserves the right to:
- Remove or apprehend any person from the Bundanon Site for anti-social behaviour. In this event, no refund will be issued.
- Hold any person liable for any damage caused to Bundanon property, equipment, buildings, artworks or grounds arising from their visit.
- Serve food and beverages on the Bundanon Site for the purpose of Bundanon hosted events.
- Use closed-circuit television (CCTV) security cameras throughout the Art Museum and Homestead sites.
- Change these Conditions of Entry without notice.
Photography at Bundanon
In most places in Bundanon, you may take photos or make videos or films of the works of art on the Bundanon sites if:
- It is for personal use only;
- You do not use tripods, selfie sticks, flash or lighting equipment without Bundanon’s prior permission;
- There is no sign prohibiting photography;
- Children under the age of 18 are not recorded;
- It does not interfere with or cause concern for other visitors; and
- It does not include any other person without that person’s consent.
If you intend to photograph or film for publication or commercial purposes, you must submit a written request via email at info@bundanon.com.au at least 4 weeks prior to your visit.

Bundanon is situated within a restricted airspace. Commercial, professional or recreational use of drones or Remotely-Piloted Aircraft (RPA) is strictly prohibited at both Bundanon sites. Any parties identified using drones or RPA’s will be required to delete any footage captured and asked to leave the site/s.
Bundanon may engage photography or make videos or films of the Bundanon sites at times and without prior notice. In these instances, signage will be displayed to inform. Any media for commercial use will be done so using unidentifiable subjects, unless otherwise engaged.
Ticket Purchases (Event & General Admission)
Conditions of Booking | Events, General Admission & Gift Vouchers
- Tickets can be purchased online (via the TixTrack Ticketure platform) or in-person at Bundanon. To buy tickets online, you must register your name and email address. An online booking fee may apply when buying tickets through the TixTrack Ticketure platform. This fee is notified prior to purchase. Tickets purchased online are electronic only and will not be mailed. You may print the PDF ticket in your email confirmation or from your account, present your digital ticket on your mobile device, or bring your photo ID to Bundanon for collection from the either the Art Museum or the information office.
- Valid identification may be required for collection of tickets and, in some cases, upon entry to the exhibition or event. Bundanon reserves the right to refuse admission if valid identification is requested and not provided, at an age restricted event where you cannot prove that you are of a qualifying age, or under any other circumstances that violate the posted restrictions of an event or exhibition.
- A valid ticket must be produced to gain entry to a ticketed exhibition, program or event. A General Admission ticket is valid for a single entry to the Art Museum and Homestead.
- For concession and member tickets, proof of concession or membership must also be presented on request. If proof of entitlement cannot be presented, the ticketholder may be required to upgrade to an Adult ticket.
- A carer or person who supports a visitor with disability or frailty is admitted free to paid exhibitions with a valid companion card and accompanying ticket
- Entry to exhibitions is subject to capacity at the time of arrival. Late arrival for exhibitions, events and programs may result in re-scheduling to a later session or date or non-admittance.
- Bundanon reserves the right to vary ticket prices, seating arrangements and capacity, add, withdraw, or reschedule programs and presenters, or change Stay Weekend itineraries, without notice
- Bundanon reserves the right to cancel a ticket and refund the paid amount. Bundanon will make every effort to notify visitors via email when an exhibition, event or program is cancelled and advise where future available dates may be booked.
- Bundanon is not liable for any expenses paid by visitors to attend exhibitions, events or programs, including travel or accommodation costs, even in the case of last-minute cancellation.
- Unless authorised by Bundanon, tickets are not to be used for advertising, promotions, contests, or sweepstakes unless authorised by Bundanon. Use of Bundanon trademarks and other intellectual property is subject to Bundanon’s consent. Bundanon reserves the right to cancel a ticket if any of these terms and conditions are breached.
- Bundanon is guided by and compliant with NSW Ticket reselling laws. Bundanon generally recommends against private reselling of tickets, as cannot guarantee ticket detail transfer, and in the event of a cancellation where refund is applicable, refund will be paid to the initial purchaser.
- Gift vouchers can be purchased via the website and in-person at Bundanon. Gift vouchers can be used to book Art Museum tickets, event tickets including Stay Packages, memberships, merchandise and books (available in-person or via phone/email only), or food and beverages from Ramox Café. Gift vouchers are valid for 3 years from date of purchase and cannot be redeemed for cash.
- Bundanon will request and record personal information necessary to facilitate ticket purchases and reservations. The collection, use and management of personal information is regulated by the Privacy Act 1988. Please refer to Bundanon’s privacy policy for more information.
Cancellation Policy | General Admission:
For General Admission tickets to the Art Museum and Homestead, visitors unable to attend a pre-booked session can contact Bundanon’s Visitor Services Team at info@bundanon.com.au 24 hours prior to the pre-booked session to either request a refund or transfer to another session or ticketholder on request.
Cancellation Policy | All other events (excluding Stay packages):
- Unless otherwise stated, all ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
- All ticket transfer requests must be submitted by email to ticketing@bundanon.com.au with at least 48 hours’ notice. Ticket transfer requests within 48-hours cannot be guaranteed.
- Transferred tickets must be redeemed within 6-months of the original booking. Tickets not redeemed within 6-months are forfeit.
- Requests for refund in writing may be considered at the discretion of Bundanon. An administration fee will apply.
Accommodation Bookings
Conditions of Booking | Stay Packages :
- Bundanon does not function like a hotel. Guests are offered the opportunity to stay as part of packages that include catering and cultural experiences (Stay Packages).
- Stay Packages can be booked online or in person at Bundanon. Full payment is required to secure your booking and payments are subject to Bundanon’s cancellation policy unless expressly stated otherwise.
- Guests must be 18 years or above to book a Stay Package.
- The Bridge bedrooms have been designed to accommodate a maximum of two adults and the Stay Packages currently on offer have been designed for adults. Upon request, guests are welcome to borrow a porta cot for a child under two years old, or an older child can accompany a single adult if the child is supervised during the entire stay.
Cancellation Policy | Stay Packages:
- Payments are non-refundable.
- For cancellations outside 30 days prior to arrival, you may choose to transfer your booking to an alternate available date, within 6-months of the original booking. Stay Packages not redeemed within 6-months are forfeit.
- On a date transfer, if the new rate is lower, the price difference is non-refundable and forfeit. If the new rate is higher, the price difference is required to be paid to confirm the new date.
- Cancellations within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable but can be transferred to a new ticketholder with at least 24-hours’ notice.
- All cancellations and amendments are required to be made in writing to ticketing@bundanon.com.au
- When booking your stay, Bundanon strongly recommends purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations or changes outside our standard policy, including those arising from flight disruptions, illness, natural disasters, or personal emergencies.
- Cancellation by Bundanon:
- At any time Bundanon reserves the right to cancel accommodation bookings due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters or insufficient demand. In these circumstances, Bundanon will issue a full refund.

- Vehicles remaining on site for the duration of the Stay Package must park in the designated areas at owners’ risk.
- Only alcohol purchased onsite or included as part of your Stay Package may be consumed at Bundanon.
- Bundanon can cater to special dietary requirements if notified 10 days prior to guest arrival.
- Smoking and vaping is only permitted in designated areas. Cleaning fees apply to smoking in any non-smoking area, including rooms.
- You will be invoiced by Bundanon for any damage to property, equipment, buildings, artworks or grounds arising from your visit.
- Room keys must be returned at the time of departure. Loss of room keys leading to the replacement cost being incurred by Bundanon, will result in a charge of $10 per Bridge key or $35 per Boyd Education Centre key. This fee is payable by the primary guest, or by the client if booked on behalf of the primary guest by an organisation or individual.
- If you are asked to leave the property due to anti-social behaviour, no refund will be issued.
Membership Purchases and Renewals
Membership Conditions
- Bundanon Membership is non-refundable.
- Membership cards and their benefits are non-transferable.
- Bundanon may terminate a Membership if a Member fails to comply with these terms and conditions or misuses Membership privileges.
- Bundanon Membership will be considered ‘lapsed’ if not renewed by the due date.
- The expiry date of an annual Membership cannot be suspended or extended past the stated expiry date.
- Bundanon reserves the right to change these terms and conditions or Membership benefits where necessary at any time without prior notice. This includes the right to adjust membership prices.
- If you have lost or damaged your membership card, please call 02 4422 2100 or visit the information office at Bundanon to request a replacement card. Please note that there is a $5 fee to replace a membership card.
Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers is valid for 3 years from date of purchase and cannot be redeemed for cash.
