The Homestead & Arthur Boyd’s Studio are located at Bundanon’s Homestead site and offer visitors a glimpse into the social history of Bundanon and the story of the Boyd family.
Arthur and Yvonne Boyd’s deep connection to Bundanon shaped its legacy as a place of artistic inspiration. In 1979, they purchased the property, making it their home and creative sanctuary. Arthur’s studio, preserved as he left it, offers a rare glimpse into his artistic process, surrounded by the Shoalhaven landscape that profoundly influenced his work.
The historic Homestead, dating back to 1866, remains much as it was, showcasing the Boyd family’s life and art. Their generosity ensured Bundanon would continue to inspire future generations, cementing its place as a cultural and artistic landmark for Australia.
