Bundanon

Petra Kuppers is a visual artist and Professor in the Department of English, Language and Literature at the University of Michigan.

During her residency at Bundanon in 2014, Kuppers worked on developing her international community performance project Salamander. This project included underwater photography, dry performance workshops, creative writing, clay work and video to find ‘disabled beauty emerging from the deep, the wild aesthetic of water, deforming ourselves through sleek unhinged control’.
