Deborah Pollard is a director, academic and artist based in Sydney Australia. Her artistic practice encompasses collaborations with a variety of different practitioners from dancers to farmers to sculptors and visual artists. Trained originally in theatre as a performer and director, her practice has shifted over the last 20 years towards a hybrid between performance and visual arts.

Pollard was in residence at Bundanon in 2011 and 2013.

Bundanon acknowledges the Wodi Wodi and the Yuin, of the South Coast region, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
