In 2019, Emma has been awarded a STRUT Dance SEED Residency.

IN RESIDENCE 2018

During her residency, Fishwick was interested in unpacking the lingering reverberation of the nuances of landscape that linger on her creative psyche and physicality from her body of research, ‘Dance, Quiet Riot’.

IN RESIDENCE 2016

‘Reside in Blue’ is a continued exploration into the act of response between the three pillars of Emma Fishwick’s practice; dance, text and image. Within the residency, she explored the responsive relationship between landscape and body, to uncover the impact of distance, displacement and the associated role of the colour blue.
