Ivey Wawn is an independent artist working with contemporary practice in a range of contexts, both as a performer/collaborator, and in producing her own work. Her practice embraces dancing, doing, drawing, thinking, projecting, reproducing, regressing, watching, writing, waiting, mapping, planning, enacting and more.

Wawn was in residence in 2018 with Angela Goh, Patricia Wood, Lizzie Thomson and Rhiannon Newton, working on ‘Bookclub: Choreographic Practices’. The group of independent choreographers came together in the context of a Bundanon residency to think collectively and independently about how reading practices manifest in and inform their approaches to choreography.

Wawn was also in residence in 2016 and 2017.
