Jackie Cavallaro is an artist working predominantly with paper. She uses images from art history combined, coloured, layered and cutout to create enigmatic narratives. In 2008 she began collaborating with artist and poet Tamryn Bennett whose words are weaved through Cavallaro’s images to add layers to the work. She has exhibited with NG Art Sydney, Flinders Lane Gallery Melbourne and Jankossen Contemporary in Basel Switzerland.

Cavallaro was in residence in 2015 with The Plant Symphony is an experimental audio-visual project created by interdisciplinary artist Tamryn Bennett and composer Guillermo Batiz. Through a series of residencies, The Plant Symphony used a range of digital technologies to develop site-specific sound labs that record and map audio emissions of plants.
