Ken Smith

Art Forms: Visual Art, Writing

Residency Year: 2016

Lives / Works: Australia

Ken Smith creates imagery with drawing, painting and printmaking processes. He is also an academic writer. The sustaining stimulus for all this investigative activity has been the phenomena of light as the revelatory agent for the forms, spaces, colours and atmospheres of the visible world.

Smith used his time at Bundanon to extend his long standing exploration of on-site image making in a range of landscape regions where land connects with sea.
