Nicole Gill writes on the topic of the environment, humans and other animals. She has been broadly published in publications including The Monthly, Island magazine, and The Guardian Online.

Nicole Gill used her time at Bundanon to work on a narrative non-fiction book, ‘Animal Eco-Warroris’, which looks at emotional burdens borne by people working to protect and preserve the environment, and will consider the question: “In a world plagued by environmental destruction, can animals help save us from ourselves?”

Bundanon acknowledges the people of the Dharawal and Dhurga language groups as the traditional owners of the land within our boundaries, and recognises their continuous connection to culture, community and Country.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
