Bundanon

Strings Attached was created in 2006, under the Artistic Direction of Alejandro Rolandi who was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Influenced by the raw energy presented in the work of contemporary Argentinean artists, lacking in resources but abundant with passion and imagination, Alejandro has led Strings Attached to the creation of two full length shows and three short works, each one exploring different aspects of their hybrid theatrical performance style and the collaborative process with other art forms.

At Bundanon Strings Attached undertook research and development for a new project centred around the company’s exploration of theatrical physicality in vertical environments by combining the physical practices of contact improvisation and the techniques developed from the company’s ‘flying apparatus’.
