Bundanon

Arthur and Yvonne purchased Riversdale on the strength of photographs in 1974.

The original Riversdale cottage dates from late 19th Century, and was renovated by the Boyds. This building is now the administration offices of Bundanon.  Sydney architect Andre Porebski was engaged to restore the old farm house and build another in the same style, joined by a covered walkway. This building is now known as the heritage Library cottage. Porebski also designed and built Arthur a studio, which will be used as the Customer Services Building. The buildings follow the original language of the house, but with colonial detail and proportions. Stone steps and verandas link the cottages.

In Dharawal the word Bundanon means deep valley.
