The 2027 Boyd Music Series celebrates a cast of musicians whose imagination and courage sees them taking their traditions, instruments, and collaborations into fertile landscapes. These dreamers and explorers — from eight countries and as many musical languages — perform overlooking the majestic Bangli / the Shoalhaven River, where cultural innovations have been occurring for millennia. It feels fitting to honour this ancient place with offerings of old-new traditions in sound.”

– Genevieve Lacey, Boyd Music Series Curator
