This February, Manning Clark House Gallery is proudly presenting an exhibition of paintings by Arthur Boyd, stemming from the period of his long friendship with historian Manning Clark.
This unique exhibition will run from Sunday 15th of February to Sunday 15th of March, 2015 and will be set in the original home of Manning and Dymphna Clark – “the lounge room where Arthur and Manning discussed art, culture and other issues of the day over a pot of tea.”
The various works showcased in “Arthur Boyd: Portrait of a Friendship” are of an intimate nature and are set against the Australian bush, including two portraits of Manning Clark, as well as a series of artistic nudes.
Most of these works are on loan from the Bundanon Trust collection.
Manning Clark House is a not for profit organisation.
