Culture & Connection

Sunday 31 May 1pm – 2.30pm
Book

In this guided, hands-on gathering, participants plant native seedlings while placing a personal message of hope beneath the soil. These hidden words become part of the living landscape as the seedlings grow.

Suitable for all ages and experience levels, LOVE LAND invites participants to slow down, work with the soil, and take part in a collective act of ecological care and renewal.

Every planting contributes to Bundanon’s ongoing Natural Resource Management program, helping establish propagation cells that support the regeneration of native flora across the landscape.

Please note this event takes place on uneven bushland and is not suitable for guests with limited mobility or requiring wheelchair access.

FEATURING

Jessica Raschke is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and holistic therapist whose work is guided by soul-informed and existential inquiries into what makes life meaningful. Integrating creative practice with critical inquiry, Jessica’s art often takes the form of relational, participatory and text-based installations that invite audiences into moments of reflection and shared experience. Her works, including site-specific installations such as Ruined Roads and Liminal Leaves, have been exhibited in galleries and public spaces across New South Wales and beyond, and frequently explore themes of mortality, community, and the human condition. Jessica’s creative and written work has appeared in a range of publications, and her poetry collections are published by Ginninderra Press. Jessica’s collaborators for LOVE LAND are Joh Davidson and Wade Dever.
